From 29 May to 1 June, the iconic Empire Theatre was transformed into a thrilling esports arena, as high school gamers from across the Toowoomba Region battled it out in an action-packed tournament like no other.

Proudly delivered by QUT and supported by the Department of Social Services, Queensland Government, Queenslanders with Disability Network, Headspace, and the Toowoomba Region Council, this landmark event gave young players the ultimate platform to level up in the world of competitive gaming.

• High-stakes competitions in crowd-favourite games like Rocket League and the exciting new Marvel Rivals

• Exclusive to Toowoomba Region residents under 18, offering the perfect chance to shine locally — and possibly even beyond!

• Opportunities to volunteer and learn event management, marketing, and live broadcasting

• Free access to the EsportsAble Academy with live coaching from pro esports players

• Virtual Reality experiences and a visit from the high-tech QUT Sports Tech Van

• Prizes and merch galore for both players and spectators

• A grand prize: an all-paid trip to Brisbane for the QLD EsportsAble Championship!
