EsportsAble Academy Pops Up at Harristown High!

On Wednesday, 8 May, the EsportsAble team brought the hype to Harristown State High School with a series of class and lunchtime pop-up sessions aimed at students passionate about esports, new media, production, and digital technologies.

From casual gamers to aspiring shout casters, and content creators, students had the chance to explore the growing world of esports and how it connects with creative and digital industries.

What Happened on the Day?

Across the day, students dropped into EsportsAble’s interactive zone, where they could:

🎮 Try out esports gear and games
🎙️ Explore casting and live production tools
🎥 Learn about media and content creation roles
💡 Get hands-on with tech used behind the scenes
🧑‍💻 Discover pathways into esports and digital careers

The sessions were fun, fast-paced, and packed with real-world tips on how students can turn their interests into opportunities—whether as players, streamers, editors, developers, or tournament organisers.
