Co-Designing Esports for Toowoomba
Community Voices Shape a Local Esports Program for Young People
On the 31 March 2025 EsportsAble team held a special Co-Design Workshop in Toowoomba, bringing together students, educators, parents, and local organisations to help shape a youth-focused esports program that reflects the unique strengths and needs of the Toowoomba EsportsAble Regional Tournament.
Held in collaboration with local schools, council representatives, community leaders, and support services, the workshop explored how esports can be more than just gaming—it can be a safe, skills-driven space for young people to connect, grow, and thrive.
